For example, when a new assignment is created the system automatically issues a 'Welcome' email to the candidate advising them of their login details - some customers may wish to suppress these emails altogether or to simply hold them until they are ready to issue them (this can be particularly relevant if Document Management is in place and documents need to be added first, before the candidate receives access and logs on to the system).
The Pending Messages feature allows outgoing messages to be suppressed and managed easily, and any pending messages will be indicated on the main Dashboard:
If we click the 'Pending Messages' button shown above the following 'Email Settings' Screen will become visible:
Individual email actions can be suppressed by clicking the icon to the left of the message action. The options along the right of the screen allow group actions, such as suppressing all candidate emails, sending all pending messages and clearing down any pending messages (without sending them). There are also buttons at the bottom of the screen which allows all messages to be set as suppressed (pending) or automatically sent.
For those customers whose sites are already suppressing email communications, this feature will give you more control over that area and will enable you to manage it yourselves.
