It was necessary for us to tighten up this process and now only A4 size images can be uploaded to Etz so it is likely the file you are attempting to upload contains images of larger dimensions. There is an application you can download from the internet which allows PDF's to be resized to A4 - you can download it from this link:
When a document is presented for upload it has to pass through stringent checks to ensure it is an image we can use to attach to sales invoices when we create them further along in the process.
These images must be A4 portrait and the PDF itself must pass through our checks successfully otherwise it is rejected (occasionally they contain other properties that are not acceptable to our site).
By faxing in a document to Etz we completely control the imaging compilation so during that process we can compile a suitable image for use on the system.
With upload it is necessary to reject any images that do not fit with the format and criteria as we cannot allow sub-standard PDF’s into the system.
If we did allow unsuitable images to come in at this stage it would impact on our ability to produce a sales invoices document later, so it is essential that non-compliant images are rejected at this stage.
