How do I set a Supplier for Self-Billing on ETZ?

Our Document Management module makes the whole process even easier as the self-billing document can be set up as a template and used to create self-billing agreements quickly and efficiently, before issuing them to suppliers for their signature for our Etz Sign electronic signature (or on-line signing if preferred).   For more information on using our Document Management module please see related articles.Firstly you will need to ensure you have a self-billing agreement in place; this is a document/contract between you and the supplier representing that a self-billing arrangement is in place and this document is valid for 1 year from the date of signature.

Once you have a valid self-billing agreement with your supplier, it is then simply a case of amending the Supplier Entry record to reflect the agreement;

The remittance document we then create on Etz doubles-up as a purchase invoice both for the supplier's accounts and for yours.  As soon as a timesheet is 'received' on the system they build up in the Purchase Invoice area and are processed easily from the Create Purchase Invoices option, under the Self Bill Invoice mode:

Once the self-bill remittance has been created it will move into the Undelivered Purchase Invoice area, along with any other Purchase Invoice remittances, waiting to be delivered to the supplier.

They look similar to the purchase invoice, but they state 'Self-Bill' on the top and detail the required HMRC statement at the bottom:
