The fax service used on our system is powered by E-Fax which is the largest supplier of cloud-based fax service. As with any service there can be peaks and dips occasionally but if your fax number has an engaged tone this indicates other issues.
Normally all transmissions are accepted and the fax service should handle multiple transmissions simultaneously. Please log a support ticket so we can investigate your fax service more fully with the service provider.
Another consideration is it is possible for us to secure an additional fax number for your site (this needs to begin with '0845' and we will advise you of the full number). When it places your original number plus any additional numbers will be displayed on Etz timesheets so candidates can use whichever number they prefer.
This also gets around another issue we see occasionally where dialling restrictions may be in place within certain organisation, so you may have a candidate working on a client site where they are not able to dial out to certain numbers.
