If you are having problems with a timesheet and need to find out some more information then the best way to find out about a timesheet’s journey is by looking at the timesheet history. This is visible in the Timesheet Validation and Incoming Images, but the best place to view it is from Timesheet Display and then clicking on the View Timesheet History icon.
Please note that the timesheet history shows the activity from bottom to top, meaning the latest activity will show at the top of the history screen.
The audit shows the life cycle of the timesheets, so from this example we can see when it was first opened or generated on the system through to it being Timesheet Received:
On the above, the most recent entry at the top shows the current status and the Time Stamp shows when it changed to that status, so from this information we can see the timesheet was submitted for authorisation on 16th July at 15:36 and was signed by Rachel James at 15:36 (which is the point it changes to Awaiting Approval). It was then Validated By Emily Miles at 15:37 (this is the point it changes to Timesheet Received).
The above timesheet has been rejected. You can see Emily rejected the timesheet, the time they rejected it (Time Stamp) and why they rejected it (Notes)
Finally the timesheet above shows the history of a timesheet that has been cancelled. As you can see the timesheet history again shows the time stamp of the status change as well as who carried out the action (in this case the candidate) and any notes that may have been left.
