If you have agreed with your client that a candiate will be paid overtime if they have worked more than 40 hours per week then you will need to have an overtime rate code set up with a rate type of Overtime Rate (Hours)
on the assignment for the overtime element you will need to select Overtime Hourly Rate per Peroiod for the Rate Rule and then the new rate code above for the Rate Code.
on the main details of the asignment you must select Detailed - Allow the candidate to enter detailed units of their working hours
Then on the candidate portal the candidate will be asked for the Start time and Finish time and Break duration, they will not see any requests for overtime because the system will calculate from the time entered if the overtime rate needs to be applied.
the timesheet will show the overtime once the maximum limit of hours(40) for the period (week) has been worked.
the overtime hours calculated will appear on the timesheet when you come to validate it
