We have a candidate who states they cannot see their overtime once they have entered it onto their timesheet. They can only see the total amount of units entered. Why is this?
With overtime rates on Etz they can be set as 'Candidate-entered' or as an 'Overtime Hourly Rate per ...' rate rule in the Costing page of the Assignment Entry and these two options determine how the units are entered by the candidate on their portal. With a Candidate Entered rate rule the overtime rate will be visible to the candidate, so you are allowing them to control how much overtime is entered. Here is how that option is set from the Assignment Entry:
As with the above example, if the rate rule is Candidate Entered when the candidate enters their units on to their timesheet they will be able to enter the amount of overtime units worked on top of their standard unit rate:
They will be able to view exactly how much overtime has been entered by clicking into each day, but only the standard units will be visible on the first screen. If we look at the same exactly with an 'Overtime Rate Rule' applied you will be able to see the difference. Here is how the overtime rate rule should be applied on the Costing page of the Assignment Entry:
So they must enter the total number of hours work each day as well as the number of day rate units worked, so I day with a total of 10 hours for example. Their overall view of the timesheet will look like this example, with the total number of hours displayed clearly:
Both methods will record the overtime detail on the Etz timesheet image (so will be visible if they print it out and when the client signs it).
