Etz offers two options for electronic timesheet authorisation, ETZ Sign and Client Online Sign. They are very different methods of signing and you should choose the one that best suits each authoriser.
Generally Etz sign is preferred as the authoriser does not need to log on and remember a username/password. Client Online can be introduced per assignment if (a) the authoriser is happy to log on to the portal and (b) signs multiple timesheets, therefore it is quicker for them to login and sign multiple timesheets rather than individually sign each one (as is with Etz Sign). Client’s can only use the online sign if you have already sent them their invitation to login to the system (see below).
Setting Up Authorisers:
Please see the following article

What are the Client and Client Admin Roles for?
Applying to Assignments:
Once the authorisers have been set up you need to set the authorisation method on the assignment under the Authorisation tab:
It's a good idea to have more than one authoriser available.
Etz Sign:
When the candidate goes to submit their timesheet they will see the following:
The Candidate must select the authoriser from the list, agree to the terms and click the 'Submit my timesheet' button. The timesheet will now show as status 'Awaiting Authorisation'.
The system will then send an email containing a link to the selected authoriser which will enable them to authorise the timesheet:
When the authoriser clicks on the link the system will show the them an image of the timesheet, where they will then get the following options to Sign/Reject/Print
They can then select the Sign option where the following screen will appear:
They must enter information in each field and then click to sign the document.
The timesheet will now appear in the Online Validation screen to be Validated by an agency user.
Online Signing:
The candidate will have the same option as above to select their authoriser but the authoriser will receive an email from the system asking them to log in to the system where they can then authorise the timesheet:
When the authoriser logs in to the system they will be able to see all un-authorised timesheets:
They can view and authorise individual timesheets via the pencil icon if they need to, or they can simply tick to select the required timesheets and then select the Authorise selected timesheets button to authorise them all in one go.
Once again the authorised timesheets will appear in the Online validation screen.
