You cannot create new rate codes by importing into Bullhorn. What you can do is assign existing rate codes to assignments imported from Bullhorn, and this article will explain how.
In Bullhorn, ETZ only accepts the following fields to be assigned as Standard and Overtime
• payRate (Standard Pay Rate)
• clientBillRate (Standard Bill Rate)
• overtimeRate (Overtime Pay Rate)
• clientOverTimeRate (Overtime Bill Rate)
In Rate Code entry, you would have to set up two Rate Codes. One for Standard and one for Overtime. The one field you would need to add is the import index. It MUST be as follows:
• Standard = 11
• Overtime = 12
If this is set up correctly, then any placements with the specific rate fields will be assigned to the correct rate codes.
You can import up to 10 custom rates. In Bullhorn these are labelled as:
• customPayRate1
• customPayRate2
• customPayRate3
• customPayRate4
• customPayRate5
• customPayRate6
• customPayRate7
• customPayRate8
• customPayRate9
• customPayRate10
• customBillRate1
• customBillRate2
• customBillRate3
• customBillRate4
• customBillRate5
• customBillRate6
• customBillRate7
• customBillRate8
• customBillRate9
• customBillRate10
In the same principle as assigning standard and overtime rates, these rates also need an import index. The import index MUST start at 1 and end at 10.
You cannot import rate index 3 without rate index 2 and 1. You cannot import rate index 5 without rate index 4, 3, 2 and 1.
An example of a correctly set up rate would look like this:
You will also need to use a customText field for every pair of rates you want to bring across from Bullhorn, so for Standard and Overtime rates, you would need two customText fields, one for the pair of Standard rates, and the other for the Overtime pair. It should look like the following:
These customText fields will then need to be added into the Agencies config, as well as the various rate fields as seen below:
