There are a few different types of agency users, each of which has different access rights to the etz System. Below are the different types of users available.
The users specific to an agency are Agency Admin, Agency System Admin, Agency User, Agency Operator, Agency Manager, Batch Authoriser, Credit Controller and Report Manager.
Each of these user types have different rights and privileges, so they cannot all carry out the same tasks or have the same number of options available to them in the etz system.
Agency Admin – The Agency Admin has full access to all the features that an agency has available. This includes making adjustments to certain settings on the Agency Details page.
Agency System Admin – This user type is used in conjunction with the Agency Admin role (i.e. both roles are selected in User Entry screen). This will give the user access to a couple of additional features of the etz system.
Firstly, the user will be able to access the Agency Configuration menu from the Agency Details page. This will allow them to configure several settings on their agency which wouldn't be accessible to a standard Agency Admin.
*Note: Only etz admin staff can set up an Agency System Admin.
Agency User – An Agency User is able to carry out the same tasks as an Agency Admin with a few exceptions. They cannot view or make changes to the Agency Details screen themselves or create candidate timesheets. They are also unable to access AWR reports for the agency or access the import section of the system, so they will be unable to import files, etc.
Agency Operator – The Agency Operator user can carry out the basic operations on the system, but cannot make any changes to the Agency settings. An operator cannot create or edit timesheets, invoices or remittances, but can view them through Timesheet Display, Sales Invoice Display or Purchase Invoice/Remittance Display screens.
Agency Manager – The Agency Manager role will allow the user to access most of the Reference Data menu in order to create new entries in its various sections. They will also be able to view the invoices and remittance documents in the relevant sections as well as view the timesheet section, but they will not be able to amend any of this information. Finally, the manager will be able to view several reports that are produced within etz.
The Agency Manager role is best suited for users that need to be able to have an overview of the agency's operations, like checking timesheets and invoices, but not actually have to edit the data in the system.
They can add new entries to the system in the Reference Data drop-down menu as well as use the import service. They can also view several of the reports available on etz from the Reports menu, but cannot view the sales/purchase invoice batch exports.
Credit Controller – The Credit Controller only allows the user access to the Sales Invoice - Manage Invoice Export Batches screen and they will also be able to view all sales invoices from the Sales Invoice Display screen. However, they will not be able to create or edit any invoices.
Report Manager – The Report Manager role is very limited. They will only be able to access the Reports tab to view all of your agency's reports.
