This article explains the candidate's workflow for completing their timesheet through the Etz portal and then submitting to their manager for approval.
When the candidate logs in to the system, they will be presented with a list of all their outstanding timesheets, as in the image below.
The candidate may only have a small number of timesheets in their list, as timesheets are only generated for a few weeks in advance.
The candidate should open the latest timesheet by clicking on the 'Select' button to the left of the timesheet line. The candidate is then presented with the timesheet form.
If the candidate did not work this week they can click 'Cancel this timesheet' as you cannot submit 0 hours/days.
The candidate must select the 'Amend Hours' button next to the day they would like to enter time for.
The candidate is then presented with the time entry for that day.
The time worked will either be displayed in hours (using start time and finish time) or days (in fractions of a day), depending on the format specified in the 'Costings' tab of the related assignment.
Once the duration worked on the selected day has been entered, the candidate has the option of copying these hours to all of the other working days. This is a time-saving option that is only available for weekdays and is only copied to weekdays, as it is assumed that weekend days are not normal working days and should be treated separately.
When the candidate has finished, they should click on the 'Save Changes' button to save the data and return to the timesheet days view. If necessary, they can repeat the process for the other days if the hours or days worked are different.
Once the candidate is satisfied that the timesheet is a true representation of their hours worked over the period, they can click 'Continue' to submit the timesheet to a client manager for authorisation.
