etzInsights gives you full access to your etz data by placing it on a cloud server and providing the access details through the etzInsights section of the site. To interact with this data you will need to have a general understanding of relational databases, and more specifically, a knowledge of how the data is distributed among the different tables.
To help with the latter, we’ve produced simple documentation, available from within our etzInsights Samples repository, that describes what each table and column within your cloud server’s database contains.
This can be run in a browser (by clicking the file EtzDbDw_Doc.htm) or within a Microsoft help file (by opening the file EtzDbDw_Doc.chm).
The navigator on the left of the help page lists all of the tables in the schema (e.g. Agency, Assignment, Branch) – clicking on each will bring up a page containing an overview of the table and a breakdown of the columns within that table.
Foreign keys between the selected table and others within the database are displayed as both diagrams and a list at the bottom of each database table page – these should be used to form joins between the various tables.
