Currently we do not have a monthly rate option but below is a way around this by using a Monthly Allowance rate.
First set up a monthly rate code in Rate Code Entry, make sure you set the Rate Code Type as 'Allowance'
On the assignment costing you must have at least one rate set. You will not be able to add an allowance without a Rate Set.
Add a rate - you will be removing this at validation so it doesn't matter what you set the rate amount as.
Next, ensure that the Timesheet Template is set to Calendar Monthly to make certain that only one timesheet is submitted for the month. The candidate will still need to enter their days or hours to be able to submit the monthly timesheet. They will not be able to submit without entering time.
Then add your new monthly allowance rate with an Allowance Type of Per Timesheet.
The candidate will enter their time as normal.
The timesheet will be authorised.
At the validation stage, remove the first rate line from earlier. So I will be removing the Daily Rate line by clicking the red 'X'. Do this on the pay and bill.
Leave the monthly allowance on the timesheet - as you can see the candidate has submitted one month and will be paid £1,400.00. Validate the timesheet when you are happy.
Now you have validated the timesheet and you can see below on Timesheet Display the monthly rate.
