Setting up a Product/Service within QuickBooks
When using quick books you need to setup a Product and Service record to enable you to sync your etz sales and purchase invoices into QuickBooks.
Product and Services are available from the settings cog, Product and Services.
When setting up the Product/Service the Name will be used as the reference within etz for both the Sales and purchase invoices. The Nominal code/Chart of Account is selected from the Sales information section - Income account. If you are syncing purchase invoices then you also need to select the required expense account under Purchase Information.
If you are syncing just sales invoices you are not required to select the Purchase information, but if you are syncing Purchase invoices you must also select the Sales information.
Setting up etz to recognise the Product/Service
The product/service name in QuickBooks can be entered in one of three places.
Firstly we look at the Assignment - and Accounting Reference.
The first element will be the sales invoice reference, and the second reference will be the purchase reference,
