As links in emails may affect deliverability to some email recipients we at Timesheetz have created an alternative access method for future emails that can be toggled on and off per user. This process is outlined below:
In the Contact Details section for the candidate, there is a tickbox to toggle whether the alternative code method applies to this candidate. Any communications sent to them that would normally contain an access link will instead be replaced with a code and site to navigate to to use this code.
The same tickbox exists for the Client User/Authoriser, any communications sent to them that would normally contain an access link will instead be replaced with a code and site to navigate to, to use this code.
Please ensure that the message template for the following message types have removed the chevrons "< >" around the ##AuthorisationUrl## or ##InvitationLink##:
Request For Timesheet EtzSign
ReSend Timesheet Authorisation (EtzSign)
User Invitation
Client Invitation
Welcome Message (With Invitation)
To learn how to navigate to and change Timesheetz message templates please see the linked article here.
This will ensure that the sent email arrives with the correct formatting to allow recipients to follow through to the code submission page. Below is an example of a template without the chevrons:
An example of the email that a candidate will receive using this method:
An example email that a Client User/Authoriser will receive when sent a timesheet authorisation request via ETZ Sign:
Following the link to https://access.etzpayments.com will present the user with the below page, allowing the user to input the sent code from the email into the field. The page will then redirect them to the appropriate page once the code is submitted.
